The film Waterworld, (Kevin Reynolds, US, 1995) describes a future scenario: the world is flooded by salt water, therefore drinking water got a valuable and rare good. The opening scene of the film shows the protagonist (played by Kevin Coster) while he is doing his curious morning toilette. This scene appears weird, maybe even disgusting, but it shows a concept of an effective way of using limited water resources.
